Frankston City Council Mayor, Cr Kris Bolam JP, has introduced a Mayoral Bursary Program.

$500 and $2000 bursaries are available to assist students from a disadvantaged background living in the Frankston City council area who, without financial assistance, may not be able to undertake further studies.

There are several bursaries for students attending Monash University, Peninsula campus. Students may be currently studying or commencing in Semester 1, 2012. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply.
