Are you interested in gaining new practical sustainability skills to bring to your future work? Green Steps is a challenging and rewarding program that brings together people interested in creating positive environmental change.

Through a combination of:

  • interactive and fun training (18-20 March and 1-3 April 2011),
  • a 15 day internship working on an environmental sustainability project in an organisation, and
  • a project with the Monash Office of Environmental Sustainability

...Green Steps equips participants with the tools and confidence to be effective change-agents working towards sustainability.

The program is free of charge for successful applicants and provides students with the opportunity to explore the links between their core area of study and sustainability.

Starting in March 2011, Green Steps training provides:

  • Skills and knowledge to be an effective sustainability change agent
  • Increased confidence and effective approaches to operating in a professional context
  • Work experience and the possibility of further opportunities within the environment sector
  • A support network of like-minded individuals passionate about creating change

Delivered by the Monash Sustainability Institute in partnership with the Monash Office of Environmental Sustainability, the program has a growing national alumni of over 500 people and is delivered throughout Australia.
