Keen to change the face of politics and make a difference? Australia’s ranking for women in national government compared to other countries continues to decline. We are currently 51st in the world. But you can change this.

Pathways to Politics for Women is a nonpartisan program established through a partnership between the Women’s Leadership Institute Australia, Trawalla Foundation and the University of Melbourne, based in the Melbourne School of Government.

The Program is now open to female graduates of all Victorian universities who are interested in running for office at local, state or federal levels.

The program is fully funded for a cohort of 30 successful applicants, and participants receive practical training and advice on topics such as campaigning, policy making and political communication by experts including current and former politicians and leading industry figures. It equips women with the skills and knowledge to thrive as political leaders, and to lead and create change.

Applications will close at 12.00pm on 1 April 2020. Please visit the website for information on eligibility and how to apply.
