If you’ve got a big idea, then tell EY all about it!
Sometimes the biggest ideas are born from the simplest of observations. We’re not talking about sliced bread, reinventing the wheel, or anything that would be prefixed with ‘i’. So, open your mind and think about everyday things you see, use, hear, feel or interact with that fall short by the smallest of margins.
Be daring. All you need to do is Survive the Panel.
Can you survive the panel?
Four entries will be chosen as finalists to pitch to a panel of EY judges in front of an audience of 90, including EY partners and staff. This fine dining and networking evening will be held at EY's Melbourne offices on Thursday 6 October.
Finalists will be battling it out to win a share of $20,000 to make their big idea a reality.
How to enter
Tell EY about your big idea, in 100 words or fewer, to secure your opportunity to pitch to the panel. You may enter as an individual, or in a team of up to four members.
You must be residing in Australia and due to complete your university degree between 2017 and 2020.
Judging
All entries will be carefully reviewed by the judges.
A shortlist of 20 entries will be selected and the entrants will be invited to complete a business case proposal.
The top three entries will be selected and the entrants will be invited to attend the event in Melbourne on 6 October, to pitch their ideas to the judges.
Three wild card entries will also be selected, to be voted on by Facebook fans. The wild card entry with the most votes will become the fourth finalist invited to pitch.
Finalists will then attend the event in Melbourne on 6 October and pitch to the panel for their chance to win a share of $20,000. (EY will cover flight expenses and one night's accommodation for individual finalists and two from each team entry finalist who are based interstate.)
