Finsia connects students and young professionals with leading industry figures who work in corporate finance and wholesale banking, financial markets, managed funds and superannuation, private wealth management and retail banking.
About the CareerConnect Program
Finsia's CareerConnect program is designed to help increase awareness and understanding of the financial industry - it can help you sharpen your skill set, build knowledge and maximise what you have to offer employers.
Delivered through a mix of online and face-to-face activities the program offers tailored career tips, as well as opportunities to learn about key growth markets and change drivers within the financial services industry.
The program runs for eight weeks and comprises a number of components:
- Career buddy
- Networking skills workshop
- Online module
- Online career tools
- One year Finsia membership (benefits include access to Finsia's Passport online members platform, industry news and Finsia's magazine InFinance, career advice, seminars, professional networking events and more...)
Who can take part
Current university students, recent graduates and entry level candidates.
Program and application dates
The program offers several intakes per year.
In 2015 in Victoria, the program will run four times, commencing 25 March, 27 May, 11 August and 13 October.
Applications close for each intake two weeks prior to the program start date.
