Applications for European Commission Traineeships (October 2015 – February 2016) are now open.
These are paid traineeships for 5 months with the European commission (or some bodies and agencies of the European Institutions such as European External Action Service or Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation). More information on the European Commission website.
The successful applicant receives a grant of €1,000 and reimbursement for travel expenses. Relevant accident and health insurance can also be provided.
The positions are mainly in areas such as competition law, human resources, environmental policies etc. Daily work will mostly consist of:
- attending and organising meetings, working groups, forums, public hearings
- researching and compiling documentation, reports, consultations
- answering queries
- running projects
