The Vice-Chancellor's Social Inclusion Awards acknowledge those who contribute to Monash University's commitment to providing an inclusive environment and culture that offers equitable access and support to students, staff and the wider Monash community.
The Vice-Chancellor's Social Inclusion Awards are a unique opportunity to acknowledge those who contribute to Monash University's commitment to provide an inclusive environment and culture.
There are two categories of awards.
Social Inclusion Award
This category is open to all Monash staff and students, individuals and teams. Applications should demonstrate how the nominee's contribution supported or enhanced an inclusive environment with Monash or the wider Monash community. The application may address goals in the University's Social Inclusion Strategy or other social justice programs.
A total amount of $14,000 will be distributed with individual amounts determined by a selection committee.
Social Inclusion Design Award
This category is open to all Monash students, individuals and teams. Applications should demonstrate a design that best represents social inclusion, whether it be illustrative, graphic, sculptural, photographic, constructive or a process. A written rationale explaining the concepts is highly recommended.
An award of $1,000 will be presented to one application as determined by a selection committee.
