Join a Monash team to compete in the 2014 Cyber Security Challenge Australia.

The Challenge is designed to excite, inspire, attract and help Australia’s talented people to become our next generation of cyber security professionals. It is Australia's only national cyber security competition - sponsored by the Australian Government, Telstra, NBN Co and PwC - and the winning team will travel to the Black Hat Conference in Las Vegas, thanks to Telstra.

Information sessions about the Challenge will be held on Friday 7 March at Swinburne University’s CBD campus (10am) and at the University of Melbourne (4pm). These presentations will provide more information about the Challenge and possible future employment opportunities for cyber professionals.

Monash University students may attend either of the information sessions on 7 March, or visit the Cyber Challenge website to find out more.

Participants compete in teams and each team must be nominated and represented by a faculty or staff member from the university. Competing team(s) need to be registered for the Challenge by 31 March.

Passionate, highly motivated Monash students with a strong IT background and skills who are interested in participating this year, or in future years, can contact the following Monash staff member for information and advice:
