Established in 1985, the Hong Kong Federation of Business Students (HKFBS), is a non-profit organisation managed by Hong Kong business students with a member base of over 15,000, comprising business students from all 9 universities in Hong Kong.
The HKFBS invites you to join their annual business plan writing competition – KPMG Business Administration Paper (BA Paper) 2012. Entries close 24 October.
About the competition
Business Administration Paper is a unique, inter-university business plan writing competition that has been held annually for 26 years and will continue to be the highlight of the HKFBS in its 27th year. This year, KPMG is the Title Sponsor, along with ACCA Hong Kong, HKICPA, ACE Insurance, PwC and an array of other companies.
Positioned as an international business plan writing competition, BA Paper strives to enhance the exchange of ideas among local and foreign students. This year, more than 30 universities from Australia, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UK, US, Canada and other countries will be invited to participate in the Global Round of competition.
The experience would be a strong CV builder and an enhancement to your global exposure. It also would be a valuable opportunity for local students and students from Hong Kong to interact, as the winner of the Global Round will win a trip to Hong Kong as explained below.
Three foreign entries will be selected from all to enter the second round of selection, and eventually the best team among the foreign teams will be crowned winner of the Global Round and be invited to Hong Kong for the Grand Final. They will then compete with local finalists for a cash prize of up to HK$20,000, jewellery and internship places. HKFBS will subsidise finalists' air travel fees (up to HK$10,000) and arrange accomodation in Hong Kong throughout the period of the Grand Final.
