Edith Cowan University is conducting a study on how Business and Economics graduates acquire communication skills at university and how they transfer them to the workplace. For example, how were your public speaking skills developed and what factors helped (or hindered) you when applying these skills in your current job? The purpose of the study is to identify guidelines and collaborative strategies for work organisations and universities on ways they could help graduates improve their transfer of skills across the very different contexts of the university classroom and the workplace.

Participants are asked to take part in an online survey which takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. Participants who complete the survey are eligible for a prize draw for a $550 gift voucher of their choice.  Participants need to have graduated in 2009, 2010, 2011 or 2012.

Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary; submission of the survey constitutes consent to participate.  The survey is anonymous; a summary of the results for all participants may be published for research purposes but with no record of individual identities.
