Shell Eco-marathon is held in Europe, America and Asia and challenges students from all over the world to design and drive home-grown vehicles that go the maximum distance while using the least fuel and producing the fewest emissions.
The winners are the teams that go the farthest distance using the least amount of energy. This year, Shell is giving Australian students the opportunity to attend the official, invitation only Shell Asia Eco-marathon event in Malaysia on 4-7 July 2012 at the Sepang International Circuit.
All students need to do to register is submit their resume and academic records to: SEM-AU@shell.com.
Using Shell assessment criteria, student's creativity and problem-solving abilities will be put to the test to find out how their leadership and analytical abilities stand up in the face of demanding conditions and tight timelines.
Using the Shell criteria, candidates will be selected to attend Shell Asia Eco-marathon event, with flights, accommodation and other expenses paid.
